Define a Truck Type
- In the Setup Schedule > Material Flow > Haulage tab, select the Trucks tab.
- At the top of the Truck types data grid, click Insert.
- In the Name column, type a name for the truck type.
- In the Tonnes per load column, type the number of tonnes that the truck can carry in a single load.
- In the Availability column, type the percentage of the time that the truck is available to carry material.
- In the Utilisation column, type the percentage of the available time that the truck is actually being used to carry material.
- In the Efficiency column, type the percentage of the time that the truck is being used that it is moving and not being held up queuing or by other operational delays.
- In the Spotting & loading column, type the number of minutes required from when the truck arrives empty at the source location and when it departs with a full load.
- In the Turning & dumping column, type the number of minutes required from when the truck arrives full at the destination location and when it departs empty.
A row is added to the data grid.
The truck is available in the drop-down list when you assign a truck to a haulage route.
